The UK and Mauritius - Environment cooperation

The British High Commission has contributed to environmental projects run by the non-governmental organisations involved in environmental protection including the Mauritian Wildlife Fund and Shoals Rodrigues, a local NGO working on coral reef preservation.

Bilateral relations

Bilateral relations between Mauritius and the United Kingdom are friendly and substantive. The relationship is underpinned by long-established academic and professional links and a small number of scholarship grants.
